The Architectural Review Committee’s (ARC) purpose it to ensure that changes, improvements and maintenance to the exterior of dwellings and the landscaped area of each lot meets the design standards that have been adopted by the Providence HOA.
No changes, improvements or maintenance to the exterior of dwellings or landscaped area of any lot are to be performed until a written request has been submitted to and approved in writing by the ARC. Exceptions that do not require submission or ARC approval do exist. They can be found in the PHOA CC&Rs. If there is any doubt that your change, improvement or maintenance does not need approval, please contact Mile High for assistance. Fines may be imposed and the modification may be required to be corrected, at the homeowner's expense, if you do not receive approval from the ARC.

The ARC has 15 days from receipt of a completed application to render it’s decision and 30 days to issue a written decision of approval or denial. In certain situations the ARC may request an extension of time. This is not to exceed 45 days in total unless agreed upon by the applicant.
You have the ability to appeal a decision rendered by the ARC. The appeal must be submitted in writing and received by the ARC within 10 days of the written decision issued by the ARC.
